Karin Binz is a gifted and award-winning designer and artist. She has led Design and Advertising Agencies for more than 30 years and she was busy in Berlin, Luxembourg and in the US. As a passionate sailor she crossed the Atlantic and is currently sailing on a sailing catamaran – fully equipped for all creative requirements.

Das Buch richtet sich an alle, die gerne segeln wollen, aber zu viel Angst haben, ein Boot zu besteigen.
In Segeln für Angsthasen und Scarycats werden die Themen Angst und Mut behandelt. Es soll den Lesenden Mut gemacht werden, in dem sie Kenntnisse erlangen und Wissen vermittelt bekommen. Regeln und Do’s and Dont’s werden ausführlich besprochen. Aber auch die Freuden des Lebens auf dem Wasser haben ein eigenes Kapitel.
Besonders geeignet scheint mir das Buch für Menschen, deren Partner zwar gerne segeln würden, dieses Vorhaben aber weit lieber mit dem Partner – der leider mit Angst ausgestattet ist – als alleine unternehmen möchten.
Dieser Mix aus unterschiedlichen Informationen rund ums Segeln soll Mut machen und die notwendige Zuversicht geben, um Freude am Segeln zu entwickeln.
